The MB-SR50N ZS system is an innovative fusion of screen-type sun protection and ALUPROF’s mullion-transom curtain wall system MB-SR50N. Designed to meet the architectural demands of projects where technical functionality and aesthetic elegance must be in perfect harmony, this system offers a seamless integration of solar shading into modern facade designs. With this concept in mind, custom pressure plates have been meticulously engineered for facade columns, enabling the simultaneous installation of facade infills and decorative caps. These caps not only enhance the architectural appeal, but also function as guiding channels for screen-type shading fabrics. A major advantage of this system is its adaptability—the sunshade installation can be decided at a later stage of the project, even after the facade has already been installed, offering architects and investors greater flexibility. The primary function of these screens is to shield interior spaces from intense sunlight, utilizing high-performance technical fabrics to regulate heat and glare. Beyond thermal comfort, these shades also ensure privacy, preventing unwanted visibility from the outside while maintaining clear outward views.
