"The MB-SR50N is an advanced mullion and transom system meticulously engineered for the construction of lightweight suspended and infill curtain walls, as well as glazed roofs, skylights, and other spatial structures. Rooted in the principles of Cradle to Cradle Certification®, this system adheres to the rigorous standards of sustainable development and the circular economy. Its design has been finely optimized, incorporating enhancements in profile geometry, structural durability, and accessories, all while integrating solutions that simplify on-site installation. With a construction width of 50 mm, the MB-SR50N harnesses the strengths of ALUPROF’s esteemed mullion and transom systems, delivering enhanced design versatility and superior technological performance. Notably, curtain walls fabricated with this system comply with the harmonized EN 13830:2005 (PN-EN 13830:2005) European standard, ensuring reliability and adherence to industry benchmarks. The MB-MT50N is offered in two thermal configurations, each incorporating innovative insulation technologies. The standard version integrates an ABS/TPE insulator, while the SI version is equipped with a PET/PE insulator, significantly enhancing the façade’s thermal performance. With a minimum Uf value of 0.55 W/(m²K), the MB-MT50N meets the Passive House Institute’s certification criteria in Darmstadt, underscoring its exceptional energy efficiency. A defining characteristic of this system is the additional section beneath the gasket site in the mullion profiles, along with the inclusion of two distinct mullion profile series, which allow for the implementation of two-row transoms.
